The Corners are small, American-style libraries created to help increase mutual understanding between Serbia and the United States by making available information about America in a variety of formats.
Dear users, working hours of the American Corner in Kragujevac have been changed during the summer - Corner now works every working day from 12:00 until 19:00.
People around the world were asked to create short videos completing the phrase, "Democracy is..." Over 900 contestants from 95 countries answered the call! Now it's your turn to choose the winners.
You have until June 15 to cast your votes. Six video producers - one from each region of the world - will win an all-expense-paid trip in September to New York, Washington and Hollywood. Their future is in your hands.
This is photo exhibition by one of American Corner's most active volunteers - Patricia Andjelkovic.
Knowing Pat Andjelkovic has lived and worked in Belgrade for over 32 years, she's more than competent to present Serbia's capital through photography.
She is also a teacher, a writer, and the author of three children’s books published both in Serbian and in English by Kreativni Centar. Pat also writes articles and does photographs for the Hyatt Regency ‘s quarterly magazine, Inspire.
