This project is the result of cooperation between the municipality of Novi Pazar and the Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.

According to the Agreement signed by the municipality and the U.S. Embassy, the Embassy provided furniture, equipment, a collection of materials and staff training, with a value exceeding $75,000. The municipality of Novi Pazar has provided the location and staff for the American Corner.

The American Corner will house a collection of American reference, literature and fiction books, a selection of magazines, CD-ROM databases, a collection of videos, as well as numerous U.S. Government publications. Professional bilingual staff, trained to provide information about American history, government, culture and society, and other aspects of the United States will be on hand for assistance. The Corner will also have several computers available with Internet access.
The American Corner will provide a forum for a full range of programs such as exhibitions, lecture series, workshops, and presentations by American speakers, Fulbright professors, English Teaching Fellows, Exchange Alumni, Embassy staff, and others.

from 9:00-20:00,Monday-Friday 
and
10:00-13:00 Saturday.
