U.S. Air Force Jazz Band " Wings of Dixie" will perform in Novi Pazar,

on City square on Wednesday, June 16 at 7:00 pm

All who love to play with good music are welcome !

The United States Air Forces in Europe Band is the command band of the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), representing the United States and its Air Force at the highest level of diplomatic, ceremonial, local and international community relations. "America's Musical Ambassadors" have a performance tradition spanning over 60 years. Their repertoire is very rich, and tunes such as Bourbon Street Parade and South Rampart Street Parade will present to you the spirit of New Orleans where the blues originated.

Pozivamo vas da prisustvujete predavanju Dr. Hibba Abugideiri, koja je profesor Istorije i strucnjak za pitanja Islama. Predaje na College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Villanova University.

Predavanje ce se odrzati u utorak, 8.  juna u 16 casova, u Američkom Kutku.

Junior Faculty Development Program‐a (JFDP), programa stipendiranja nastavnog i administrativnog osoblja zaposlenog na fakultetima i višim školama, koji finansira američki Stejt  department, a organizuje Američki savet za međunarodno obrazovanje u Republici Srbiji.

Prezentacija će se održati 1. juna u 18:00 casova  u Američkom kutku u Novom Pazaru u Stevana Nemanje 2.

Program će predstaviti Sanja Ignjatović, direktor kancelarije Američkog saveta u Beogradu, i bivši stipendisti programa.

On October 16th, Press Attaché Mr. Brian Stimmler visited Novi Pazar and American Corner. Goals of his visit were ratifying Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)  between U.S. Embassy in Belgrade  and the municipality of Novi Pazar and also,  lecture that he gave at the American Corner.

Press Attaché Mr. Brian Stimmler was talking to Mayor of Novi Pazar , Dr. Meho

Mahmutovic  and his assistances. Dialog was in very friendly and calm mode

and on mutual pleasure they signed Memorandum of Understanding. Also, Mr. Brian Stimmler signed MOU with Dr. Rifat Redzovic  , director of the Cultural Dome.

At the American Corner, Press Attaché Mr. Brian Stimmler gave lecture with

Subject “Freedom of Religion”. That lesson was briefly description of religious history in the United States. He talked about different religions and each of them is a part of entity. After this introductory speech,  Mrs.Stimmler was talking about law and religion. In the U.S.Constitutional Law all religions are equal and no one is particularly mentioned. All religion groups are accepted.

On June 17^th, 2009 AC Novi Pazar hosted a very interesting presentation named"12 Iconic Images from American Art".  Mrs.Catherine Kokta, historian of art, gave a lecture and presented about twelve images, dating from 1600s to the middle of twentieth century.
